LYFE 2.0 Community Guidelines
Effective Date: June 8, 2026
LYFE 2.0 exists to create a supportive recovery-focused community where people can be honest, encouraged, and reminded that they do not have to struggle alone.
This community is built around respect, safety, accountability, and support. By using LYFE 2.0, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.
This Is a Recovery Support Space
LYFE 2.0 is for recovery-focused support, encouragement, honest conversations, and community connection.
Please keep posts and comments related to recovery, sobriety, rebuilding life, encouragement, personal growth, support requests, or healthy community discussion.
Do not use the community for spam, selling items, unrelated promotions, dating, solicitation, or off-topic advertising.
Be Honest, But Be Respectful
You are allowed to be honest. You are allowed to say you are struggling. You are allowed to share difficult moments.
But honesty should not become cruelty.
Do not shame, attack, mock, insult, bully, threaten, or harass other users.
No Encouraging Relapse or Harm
Do not post content that encourages, glorifies, instructs, or pressures others to relapse, use substances, self-harm, engage in violence, or make dangerous choices.
This includes comments like:
“Just use/drink again”
“It doesn’t matter”
“You should hurt yourself”
“Here’s how to get drugs/alcohol”
“Nobody cares”
Support should point people toward safety, encouragement, and healthy next steps.
“I’m Struggling” Posts
The “I’m Struggling” feature is for moments when someone needs support, encouragement, or someone to listen.
If you respond to an “I’m Struggling” post:
Be kind
Be calm
Be supportive
Avoid judgment
Do not give medical advice
Encourage safe choices
Encourage crisis help when appropriate
Helpful responses may sound like:
“I’m here with you.”
“You’re not alone.”
“Take the next right step.”
“Can you reach out to someone safe nearby?”
“If you’re in danger, please call 911 or 988.”
Crisis and Emergency Situations
LYFE 2.0 is not an emergency service, crisis response service, medical provider, or therapy platform.
If you are in immediate danger, thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or experiencing a crisis, call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
If you see another user post something that sounds urgent or dangerous, encourage them to contact emergency support immediately and use the reporting tools if available.
Protect Your Privacy
Do not post private information about yourself or others.
This includes:
Home addresses
Phone numbers
Email addresses
Passwords
Financial information
Medical records
Legal documents
Someone else’s identity or private details
You may choose your own display name or nickname. We encourage users to protect their privacy while still engaging honestly.
No Hate, Harassment, or Discrimination
LYFE 2.0 does not allow hate speech, harassment, threats, or discriminatory attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, age, recovery status, or other protected or personal characteristics.
No Predatory Behavior
Do not exploit, manipulate, pressure, groom, scam, or take advantage of other users.
Do not ask vulnerable users for money, substances, private photos, personal information, or offline contact in a way that feels unsafe or inappropriate.
No Medical, Legal, or Professional Advice Claims
You may share personal experience, encouragement, and general support.
Do not present yourself as providing medical, therapy, detox, addiction treatment, legal, financial, or emergency advice unless you are properly licensed and authorized to do so outside the app.
Even if you are a professional, LYFE 2.0 is not designed to create a professional-provider relationship.
No Spam, Scams, or Selling
Do not post:
Sales offers
“I have something to sell”
Business promotions
Scam links
Fundraising links without permission
Repeated copy/paste posts
Unrelated advertisements
Solicitation for substances or illegal activity
Report and Block
If you see content that violates these Guidelines, use the report feature if available.
If another user makes you uncomfortable, use the block feature if available.
Reporting helps us review safety concerns, spam, harassment, harmful content, and community violations.
Moderation
We may hide, remove, restrict, or delete posts, comments, accounts, or content that violates these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, or the safety of the community.
We may suspend or remove users for serious or repeated violations.
We may also take action when content creates safety concerns, even if it does not clearly fit one listed rule.
Examples of Good Community Support
Good support sounds like:
“I’m proud of you for saying something.”
“You don’t have to get through the whole day right now. Just this moment.”
“Can you get around someone safe?”
“Try taking a walk, drinking water, or calling someone you trust.”
“You’re not weak for struggling.”
“If you feel unsafe, please call 911 or 988.”
What This Community Is About
LYFE 2.0 is not about perfection.
It is about honesty, support, accountability, recovery, rebuilding, and reminding people they are not alone.
You do not have to have the perfect words. Just show up with kindness.
